Suyun Hu

Ph.D. – Economics – Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences – 2001

M.A. – Economics – Fudan University – 1985

Dr. Hu is a Professor at the Institution of Population and Development Studies at the Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences. His research focuses on issues related to population, labour and social security system, with special emphasis placed on research of rural migrants and health system reform.

Dr. Hu has conduced research work and survey on economics and population problems in China, and has led and participated in research projects on topics such as China social security, Urban Health Insurance System Reform and Rural Health System.
