Dr. Aris Ananta is a Senior Research Fellow at the Institute of Southeast Asian Studies in Singapore. His main current research areas include: Inter-disciplinary study on Migration, Ageing, and Development in Southeast Asia, Poverty and Food in Southeast Asia, Indonesian Economy, Regional Issues in Riau Archipelago and Aceh (Indonesia), and Interdisciplinary studies on social and political issues in Indonesia.
