Nisha Malhotra

Dr. Malhotra is a Lecturer at Economics Department at the University of British Columbia. She is also a research fellow at the Canadian Agricultural Trade Policy Research Network (CATPRN) and a member of the American Economic Association and the Canadian Economic Association.

The main focus of her research is to empirically analyze the impact of international trade policies at the aggregate level (on broad categories of industries) and at the micro-level (on individual firms). Her current research analyzes anti-dumping legislation in India and Canada, and other issues of international trade, population and health, and development in India.
