The nine plaintiffs were employees of Jiaozuo Wuda Coal Transportation and Sales Co. Ltd. Since the business of the company didn’t go well, the nine workers were laid off. The company didn’t pay them any living expenses after that. In October 1999, the company stopped paying them social insurance premiums. The nine employees applied for arbitration. |
