Abstract:	Along with China-US agreement concerning China’s accession to the WTO, China’s participation has become a hot issue. It brings to the country new opportunities as well as challenges in the areas of the improvement of market system and legal system, the reconstruction of industrial structures, and the establishment of modern enterprise system. At the moment, challenge is strongly evident. But in a long run, China’s participation will be beneficial to economic development and the enhancement of people’s living standards.
