Abstract: |
This article analyzes the primary achievements as well as problems of dispute settlement mechanism under the WTO framework, and discusses the mutual influences of Dispute Settlement Body (“DSB”) of the WTO and China’s entry into the WTO. It stresses that China’s entry into the WTO means the co-existence of challenges and opportunities. China shall correctly understand the advantages and limitations of DSB. It is suggested to establish a series of state policies and legal framework so as to implement and enforce WTO agreements. The article, from both macro and micro perspectives, sets out the strategies China may adopt to deal with the DSB so that China may draw lessons and experiences, make full use of the DSB and realize the benefits of being a member country to the utmost extent |
