Abstract: | This article analyzes the non-tariff barriers and system& legal hurdles in the international trade. For the former, it discusses the environment protection, technical barriers to trade and safety protection. For the latter, the article specifies that the current managerial mode of Chinese government and some of policies do not conform to relevant rules under the WTO. The author finally advances some countermeasures against the non-tariff barriers and system& legal hurdles. They include: first, distinguish the non-tariff barriers and work out the countermeasure accordingly; second, utilize the dispute settlement body under the WTO; third, strengthen the research of standards of import goods; fourth, break barriers and various trade restrictions through the cooperation between the government and enterprises. |
