Abstract: |
Liberalization and internationalization of finance is the inevitable tendency. Followed by an illustration of Financial Service Trade Agreement under the WTO and the subsequent agreements, and the requirements therein such as liberalization of financial service and abolishment of trade barriers of financial service, this article, analyzes the effects of this tendency on financial reforms in developing countries. Given that China has quickened its steps of entering into the WTO, the author advances some suggestions on how to weaken the negative impacts brought by the trade liberalization of financial service on China’s finance. |
