Abstract: |
Senegalese soldiers who served in the French army prior to the independence of Senegal in 1960 used to get the same pensions on retirement as French soldiers. A law was passed in 1974 that provided for different treatment for the Senegalese – their pensions were frozen as of 1975. This did not apply to French soldiers. |
