| Abstract: |
This article explores how to coordinate the conflicts between trade and human rights by applying Article XX of GATT, General Exceptions. The author illustrates the principles in Article XX, including “necessary”, “relating to the products of prison labors”, and “relating to the conservations of exhaustible natural resources”, by examining several cases, for instance, US shrimp-turtle case, US tuna-dolphin case, US refinery gas case, etc. |
