This article explores the Chinese migrant labor situation, highlighting this idiosyncrasy by comparing it to two other countries: Japan and Germany. Specifically, it focuses on each country through “rules about entry”, “civic and social privileges”, and “treatment of migrant workers.” This article provides a detailed analysis of China in the above three categories, and it provides a good comparison between China (developing nation), Japan (intermediary), and Germany (developed nation). |
