Abstract: |
The Panel found that Australia’s ban on fresh, chilled and frozen Canadian salmon was contrary to its WTO obligations. The Panel found that Australia has acted inconsistently with Articles 5.1, 5.5 and 5.6 and, by implication, Articles 2.2 and 2.3 of the Agreement on the Application of Sanitary and Phytosanitary Measures (the “SPS Agreement”). The Panel reached the following conclusions: |
