Abstract: |
The author’s father had his property confiscated in the second world war. The author moved to australia, and after his father’s death sought to recover the property left to him in his father’s will. Czech citizens were able to make claims for restitution of property, but as Mr. Adam was not a permanent resident, he was ineligible. The claim is that the author and his brothers are victims of discrimination under article 26 of the covenant. |
